About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java and Angular to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web-based applications, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with our UX designer team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement web-based applications using Java and Angular
  • Write high-quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Closely work with the UX designer team to ensure seamless integration
  • Own features and production issues until resolution
  • Ensure good understanding of security standards and secure development processes
  • Manage full life-cycle software development
  • Manage conflicting priorities and focus on the task at hand
  • Quickly learn our process, code base, and engage with the sprint team
  • Perform technical analysis and testing
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub is an added advantage
  • Experience with Agile process and Scrum is desired
  • Good communication skills in all forms, including work closely with product owners and peers
Requirements
  • 4-10 years of experience in UI frameworks and Java/J2EE
  • Core Java, J2EE, JavaScript, AngularJS, EmberJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML, Ajax, JSON, SQL, PLSQL, Microservices, Web Services, and Restful APIs
  • Hands-on experience in continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle
  • Knowledge about Node.js, React.js, and Grunt is a plus
  • Should be a quick learner and keen on learning new technologies
  • Good knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming Principles, Design Patterns, and Software Architecture
  • Strong on at least one relational database system such as SAP Hana and Oracle, and must be able to design and implement across all layers of the software (UI, Backend, Database)
  • Experience with building SaaS-based web applications
  • Working knowledge of GIT version control system
