Senior Financial Manager Job

Our organization is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. They will also manage the financial accounting of business-to-consumer segments, ensure timely monthly closing and reporting of financial numbers, and plan and execute quarterly statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial accounting of B2C segments effectively.
  • Ensure accurate monthly closing and reporting of financial numbers to management.
  • Plan, execute, and timely close quarterly statutory audits.
  • Prepare balance sheet disclosures on a periodic basis and ensure correct and accurate reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines, with practical experience in applying them to business scenarios.
  • Coordinate closely with finance teams for timely closing and reporting of financials.
  • Ensure correct segmental reporting and proper elimination of all group transactions.
  • Review the monthly closing checklist thoroughly and ensure proper review is done for all balance sheet items periodically.
  • Provide internal reporting of balance sheet KPI to management.
  • Lead and supervise a team of professionals, motivating and coaching them by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the closure of financial statements of the parent company and Indian subsidiaries.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislations.
  • Closely examine all financial reports and data to check for discrepancies.
  • Ensure board deliverables related to quarterly publishing of financial statements of the company.
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.

Educational Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
