Optym is a leading provider of decision automation and optimization software products for the transportation and logistics industry.

We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Specialist with 4–5 years of quality assurance expertise to join our growing team. If you excel in ensuring product quality, have a passion for functional and automation testing, and want to contribute to building high-quality software solutions, this role is ideal for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the end-to-end testing lifecycle of our applications, designing and maintaining test strategies, test plans, and test cases, developing and executing UI and API automation scripts using industry-standard tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality releases, identifying, tracking, and analyzing defects with a focus on root cause and continuous improvement, and contributing to automation framework enhancements and best testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end testing lifecycle management
  • Test strategy, test plan, and test case design
  • UI and API automation script development and execution
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for quality releases
  • Defect identification, tracking, and analysis
  • Automation framework enhancement and best testing practices contribution
Requirements:
  • 4–5 years of QA experience with exposure to both manual and automation testing
  • 2–3 years of end-to-end testing experience in a professional environment
  • Hands-on expertise in UI Automation, API Testing & Automation, Build & CI/CD, and scripting knowledge in at least one programming language (Java preferred, Python/JavaScript is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of test design, planning, and execution
  • Basic understanding of non-functional testing
