Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system administrator to manage our Red Hat OpenShift clusters. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters
  • Perform regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of OCP clusters
  • Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments
  • Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve platform-related issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
  • Understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management
