Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

The ideal candidate will operate computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of the human body. They will possess strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating 32-64 slice CT and 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting orders from physicians or other prescribing medical professionals
  • Explaining procedures to patients and updating patient medical information
  • Maintaining accurate records of examinations performed
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
