Job Overview

A Cognitive Search Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of AI-driven search and discovery platforms. This role enables natural language insights from structured and unstructured data, reports, and dashboards. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in Azure Cognitive Search and data engineering with a passion for delivering intuitive user experiences and business value.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing cognitive search solutions using Azure Cognitive Search and related AI services.
  • Developing pipelines to ingest, index, and enrich data from diverse sources (databases, reports, dashboards, documents).
  • Enabling natural language query capabilities for business users to interact with enterprise data.
  • Integrating semantic search, embeddings, and generative AI techniques for advanced insights.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Azure Cognitive Search, Cognitive Services, and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration for search indexing.
  • Familiarity with embeddings, NLP, and vector search technologies.
  • Experience connecting search solutions to BI tools, reports, and dashboards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in cognitive search/NLP solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud ecosystem, Snowflake/Synapse, and modern data platforms.
