Job Title:

BIM Manager - MEP

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to oversee the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on our MEP projects.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM protocols, execution plans, and standards within the project delivery process.
  • This role requires strong technical knowledge of MEP services, excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as experience with Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.

About the Role:

  • Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Manage and coordinate the use of BIM for projects, including developing and maintaining BIM workflow, protocols, and standards.
  • Understand client requirements and analyze/implement BIM execution plans for BIM deliverables.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows to team members.
  • Provide primary technical support for BIM-related issues and lead a team of MEP CAD/Revit Modelers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Revit project production and contents, as well as Standard Library objects.
  • Create families and possess expertise in modeling.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models and ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced.
  • Utilize Navisworks tools for review, QC, and documentation.
  • Perform QA/QC before delivering final products.
  • Monitor team compliance with BIM standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct project studies and explain them to modelers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools.
  • Experience using Navis for coordination.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP services.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
