Financial Leadership Role

The Financial Leadership position leads the organization's financial administration, ensuring sound management, compliance, and strategic planning. A seasoned finance leader with over 20 years of experience in budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, fundraising strategies, and process optimization is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Planning
    • Develop and implement long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with organizational goals and ministry priorities.
    • Design and monitor fundraising strategies for financial sustainability.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management
    • Oversee annual budget preparation, monitoring, and management to ensure effective resource utilization.
    • Implement cost control measures to optimize resources and improve financial discipline across departments and projects.
  • Process Optimization
    • Streamline financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms for efficiency and transparency.
    • Introduce automation and digital tools to reduce manual intervention and improve service delivery.
  • Fund Management and Risk Mitigation
    • Manage cash flows, investments, and fund utilization for liquidity and sustainability.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks with strong internal controls and provide strategies for fund allocation, monitoring, and accountability.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Oversee timely MIS reports, board presentations, and donor reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • Ensure statutory, legal, and regulatory compliance and liaise with auditors, bodies, and stakeholders for smooth governance.
  • Fundraising Support
    • Collaborate on fundraising strategy design and monitoring to ensure effective fund utilization and accountability.
    • Provide financial insights and analysis for donor engagement and partner confidence.
  • Leadership and Stakeholder Management
    • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance finance team.
    • Partner with senior leadership, heads, and operational teams for decision-making and provide financial advice and insights for strategic growth and expansion.
    Requirements:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
    • 20+ years of progressive experience in financial management, administration, or controlling roles.
    • A strong track record in budgeting, cost optimization, and financial leadership at a senior level.
