FP&A Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining proactive business partnering relationships with leadership teams to drive performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong business partnering relationships with leadership teams to ensure underlying performance is well understood.
  • Proactively challenge and propose performance improvements by analyzing and interpreting actuals and trends.
  • Support the Performance Management agenda for entities in scope, ensuring robust and timely forecasts and delivering MI analysis and commentary for leadership teams.
  • Supervise and investigate anomalies and trends in performance data.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 10+ years of relevant post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in working with financial systems such as SAP and Microsoft products, as well as visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Digital literacy and analysis skills, including knowledge of Plan to Perform processes.
  • Ability to gain trust from finance and business senior collaborators.

What You Will Work With: You will work with a team of finance professionals as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization, which is being established by bp to build a centre of expertise in business planning, budgeting, and forecasting, financial analysis, and economic evaluation.
