Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Program Director to lead our delivery team in ensuring high-quality software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, guaranteeing timely and successful delivery of quality software products
  • Analyze situations and make adjustments to the team, processes, and project execution plan as needed to ensure project success
  • Establish clear expectations with stakeholders, including the delivery team, product team, and other required teams
  • Maintain awareness of project status/progress using relevant reports and determine if the project is on track
  • Inform key stakeholders (Unit Lead, Product teams, Client Services) of project updates and progress

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve skill gaps/requirements within the team
  • Remove blockers for team members by analyzing issues related to tools, processes, domain/functional understanding, and taking appropriate actions
  • Negotiate conflicting opinions among different teams using effective negotiation skills
  • Perform performance reviews and provide guidance for team members to advance professionally

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Web Development technologies like .NET, JAVA, PHP, Node, Angular, React, Ruby on Rails, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience in Project management
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Good analytical and logical thinking, along with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
  • Ability to evaluate team members' skills and allocate tasks, roles, and future progression plans accordingly
  • Familiarity with at least one Software Development Framework (.NET, JAVA, PHP, Node, Angular, React, Ruby on Rails, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL Databases and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Not afraid to make decisions based on the situation's demands
  • Experience with Project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc., and Source Controls (GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, etc.)
