Key Job Responsibilities

The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of panels. This involves overseeing the entire production process, from team supervision to quality control.

Key Areas:

  • Team Supervision: Direct and coordinate the activities of production workers, monitor technicians' performance, provide coaching and guidance as necessary, schedule work assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Production Management: Oversee production schedules, adjust workloads as needed to meet deadlines, ensure production is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, prepare equipment and device tags, prepare wiring ferrules, and maintain production machines.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of product quality, coordinate with QC team for regular inspections, quality checks, and punch closing, address any quality issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary in coordination with QC team.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote a safe working environment, enforce safety policies, conduct regular safety meetings, and training sessions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes to increase efficiency, work with management to develop and implement production strategies, analyze production data, and prepare reports on performance.
  • Resource Management: Manage inventory levels, coordinate with procurement team to ensure availability of necessary materials, maintain equipment and machinery in good working condition, and coordinate maintenance and repair activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • More than five years of experience in a production environment.
  • Proven track record in supervising production teams.
  • Proven experience in managing production schedules and meeting production targets.
  • Experienced in coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
