We're seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to drive innovation in manufacturing processes by conceptualizing and generating CAM programs using NX software, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and optimize CAM Programs: Develop, validate, and implement CAM programs that meet production requirements.
  • Predictive Quality Control: Run tool path simulations, generate NC code, and perform virtual simulations to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
  • Mechanical Validation: Validate 3D models against 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures to guarantee precise fitment.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Error Resolution: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Documentation Creation: Generate setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators to facilitate efficient production workflows.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering (B.E. preferred).
  • Experience: 5 years (B.E.) or 8 years (Diploma) in NX CAM programming.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller (preferred).
