Sales Operations Planning Team Leader

As a Sales Operations Planning Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving business success through effective sales operations planning. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and facilitate the monthly SOP process, ensuring timely input, output, and discussions that enable informed decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate monthly SOP meetings to drive alignment and consensus across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Marketing teams to ensure promotions and new product forecasts are integrated into demand planning.
  • Facilitate business review meetings and provide critical materials to inform resource allocation and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning teams to prepare medium- to long-term supply projections, including capacity plans and supplier risks.
  • Leverage planning tools to analyze data, identify key indicators, and drive continuous improvement of demand planning and SOP processes.
  • Champion best practices and standardized processes for SOP across regions, sharing insights to drive recommendations for change.
  • Measure and improve SOP planning accuracy using defined performance metrics, challenging assumptions to inform future planning cycles.
  • Provide performance reporting and dashboards to leadership to inform annual strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales operations planning or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and demand planning principles.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and technologies.
