Luxury Design Project Manager

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless design delivery—balancing creativity with execution precision.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Leadership & Oversight
- Lead the design development process with external consultants and internal managers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ensure all design deliverables align with luxury brand ethos, upholding exceptional quality and aesthetic refinement.
- Uphold zero compromise on design quality, functional integrity, and precise execution.
- Manage relationships with world-class interior design consultants, promoting accountability and pace.
- Build and mentor a strong internal team of 3–5 design managers, providing structured guidance and review.
- Delegate effectively while maintaining personal oversight on critical design checkpoints.
- Work closely with Sales to translate client aspirations into feasible design solutions.
- Partner with Architectural, Construction, and Finishing teams to ensure on-ground execution matches design intent.
- Resolve conflicts between aesthetics, timelines, and costs while protecting quality and design integrity.
- Maintain an active presence on sites to oversee finishing and detailing, ensuring flawless delivery.
- Conduct meticulous snagging and quality checks to guarantee precision and perfection.
- Uphold luxury standards of precision, with no tolerance for compromise on finish or function.
- Balance creativity with commercial sensibility—optimizing designs for cost without diluting the luxury experience.
- Review BOQs, indents, and vendor submissions to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and design alignment.
- Bring global best practices and innovative materials into projects, driving innovation and excellence.
- Explore digital and AI tools for visualization, moodboarding, and process enhancement.
- Reimagine processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining design purity and integrity.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
- 10+ years of experience in luxury residential or hospitality interiors is essential.
- Proven success in managing external consultants and internal design teams is crucial.
- A strong portfolio showcasing luxury projects with uncompromising detail and finish is expected.
