Job Title: DRP Planner

Nouryon is seeking a highly skilled DRP Planner to join our team. As a DRP Planner, you will play a critical role in strategically managing and optimizing the flow of finished goods to ensure the correct inventory is available at the right location and time.

About the Job

The DRP Planner will be responsible for reviewing and executing short and medium-term supply optimization from given customer demand and communicating with the organization. This includes ensuring inventory stocking policies are followed for trade goods down to SKU level, including safety stock levels and order quantities.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in business, mathematics, engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline. Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel, Access, and SharePoint, is essential. APICS certification is an added advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, including mass cross-reference data validation, trending, and forecasting. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all functional levels within the business, are also required.

Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, Business Warehouse, or Arkieva is preferred. A solid understanding of supply chain and business processes is essential. The ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and execute short and medium-term supply optimization from given customer demand and communicate with the organization.
  • Ensure inventory stocking policies are followed for trade goods down to SKU level, including safety stock levels and order quantities.
  • Monitor process order On Time, In Full (OTIF) metric to assess quality of plan.
  • Manage IC-STO and track inventory levels.
  • Coordinate the execution of the supply plan with responsible ISC Organization and manage any exceptions with demand forecasts.
  • Work collaboratively with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the forecasts.
  • Actively communicate situation on blocked stock to the ISC organization.
  • Determine the most appropriate inventory replenishment models that balance service, cost, and inventory based on the objectives of the business using Arkieva Inventory Module.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Maintain Arkieva master data and SAP master data relevant for the supply and inventory planning process.
  • Responsible for the process quality of NUSAP (new SKU creation).
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data related to inventory levels, lead times, to enable informed decision-making and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Analyze processes for inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation, route optimization.
  • Manage specific Supply Chain projects to meet budget requirements, project timelines, goals, business objectives.
