Job Overview:

This role is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Tax Professional, where you will play a pivotal part in providing expert tax guidance and support. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with senior management, manufacturing, legal, sales & marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support assessment proceedings with tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for ongoing matters, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Draft rectification applications and related submissions, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing technical submissions that provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare replies to be filed before tax authorities, addressing penalty proceedings, stay of demand, demand adjustment, appeal effect applications, and more.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns, adhering to regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Independently handle TDS returns, showcasing your attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates, providing informed recommendations.
  • Assist in advising on international tax matters, including interpreting provisions of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant certification, with relevant experience in tax advisory services.
  • 1-4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Business acumen, with adaptability in dynamic environments.
