Embedded Automation Test Engineer Role

We are seeking a talented Embedded Automation Test Engineer to join our Research and Development team in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases for advanced systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded system or device testing, programming/scripting languages (such as Python/shell scripts), automation tools (such as Azure/JIRA/Jenkins/Bamboo/Test complete), BDD languages (such as using cucumber/Gherkin), and embedded automation testing using TDD & BDD.

  • Test Automation development for Embedded software with real-time control systems in safety-critical control equipment.
  • Involvement throughout the development process, right from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment.
  • Reducing manual testing time by automating test suits and improving productivity and quality of product lines.
  • Realization and continuous deployment Automation within agreed time limits.
  • Maintain and extend existing automated test framework whenever there is a change request.
  • Identifying and automating appropriate areas of functionalities in product.
  • Maintaining and extending existing automation test stands.

Candidate should possess Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech) degree in Electronics and Communication or related subject. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and sense of ownership are also required.

This position involves working closely with validation team to understand scope of automation for newly developed features/change requests to existing features. Candidate should bring best practices in testing and automation.
