Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Operations Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance and reliability of our trading infrastructure. This individual will automate operational tasks, monitor trading system health, and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders regarding system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor the health of our trading infrastructure and trading servers, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Develop scripts and automation solutions to efficiently monitor and manage components within our proprietary trading systems across multiple exchanges and asset classes.

• Develop and maintain proprietary monitoring systems to oversee our trading platforms and servers.

• Fine-tune Linux servers to maximize performance, stability, and reliability of trading applications.

• Clearly communicate system statuses, incidents, and potential issues to relevant stakeholders and team members.

• Collaborate closely with trading, technology, and infrastructure teams to enhance operational effectiveness.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to systems operations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in trade operations, systems administration, or a related role, preferably within an HFT or financial trading environment.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.

• Solid experience with Linux server administration and performance tuning.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with an ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with diverse teams.

• Experience with trading systems and familiarity with financial markets and instruments is advantageous.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools and automation frameworks is a plus.
