Job Title: Software Developer

About the Role:

This position is responsible for designing and developing scalable software applications on the Google Cloud Platform using Java 8 and above. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-based application development, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop scalable software applications on the Google Cloud Platform
- Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of cloud-based applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and functionality on cloud

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in software development and 3-5 years in leading teams of engineers
- Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application development
- Proficiency in Java 8 and above

Nice to Have:

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of relational databases and data serialization techniques
- Familiarity with Unix / Shell scripting and GenNext languages like Python, Scala, Golang, Julia etc.
