Payroll Operations Specialist

Genpact is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing, and entering data utilizing the UKGPro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures.

This role requires strong knowledge of APAC payroll and payroll tax laws, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will work collaboratively with payroll colleagues and other business areas to resolve payroll discrepancies, ensure complete, accurate, and timely processing of information, and provide analysis and reporting as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Develop full understanding of inputs and outputs of payroll cycles.
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing, and entering data utilizing the UKGPro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Solid understanding of APAC payroll and payroll tax laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Good understanding of large ERP systems, preferably SAP.
