Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on contributing to user experience design from wireframes and mockups through implementation and release. You will collaborate with designers and business stakeholders to define elegant solutions for complex problems. Additionally, you will develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using Kafka, build web and mobile APIs, and develop microservices to enhance our architecture and products.

You will leverage a technology stack of predominantly Kotlin/Java, utilizing the most suitable language for each problem. You will also emphasize software quality and maintainable code using TDD, DDD, and Continuous Integration and Delivery. Furthermore, you will encourage best practices in adoption and implementation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Physics, or related field
  • Experience building and maintaining mobile apps
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern JavaScript component applications
  • Deep understanding of ReactJS and React Native
  • Experience with GraphQL is preferred but not essential
  • Fluency in Kotlin, Java, or Scala
  • Solid experience in back-end development
  • Collaborative experience on software projects with design and backend aspects
  • Iterative delivery driven by customer feedback and data insights
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
