Mobile AR Developer Needed

We are looking for a skilled Mobile AR Developer to join our team.

This is a contract, remote role that involves building and shipping mobile AR features using Unity.

You will be responsible for integrating OpenCV to augment AR interactions, optimizing for real-time performance across iOS/Android devices, and owning the debugging & release pipelines.

  • Must-have Skills:
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in AR development with Unity (AR Foundation 4/5), ARCore, and ARKit features in production apps.
  • Proven object tracking experience and OpenCV integration.
  • Strong profiling & optimization skills on mobile devices.
  • Git, CI basics, modular code, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Shader Graph/HLSL for lightweight VFX/occlusion tricks, Sentis/Barracuda or on-device ML, and Niantic Lightship.
  • Experience shipping to App Store/Play and automated build/test.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality mobile AR experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain AR software solutions.
  • Optimize performance, stability, and user experience.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in mobile AR development.
  • Strong knowledge of Unity, ARCore, and ARKit.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or Java.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV and shader programming.
