Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Data Associate I. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality data annotation for various workflows.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences is essential, along with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data, evaluating trends and patterns, and recommending generic patterns to be translated into rules. You will also troubleshoot issues related to process and conduct root cause analysis when required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet business metrics and goals by providing timely and quality data annotation for various workflows.
  2. Maintain records of daily work by updating trackers or workflow tools as necessary.
  3. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines to ensure output quality compliance.
  4. Contribute to project improvement and operational excellence ideas as applicable.
  5. Respond promptly to stakeholders on related tasks with guidance from SOP and defined SLA.
  6. Proactively raise issues that may impact core deliverables or operations to managers or stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Graduate or equivalent degree.
  • Language proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N3 or above level / BA in Japanese.
  • Good English language proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Ability to effectively complete challenging goals or assignments within defined SLAs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic Excel knowledge.
  • Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce industry).
