The Role: SME in Zuora Billing Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled technical expert to address critical issues in our subscription billing infrastructure. This role is pivotal in stabilising operations and enhancing customer experience workflows across a global footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve risks within the billing platform to ensure operational continuity
  • Design and optimize customer experience workflows across billing and subscription journeys
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and CX teams to align capabilities with business goals
  • Implement best practices for configuration, automation, and data integrity
  • Provide technical leadership and documentation to reduce future dependency risks

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a software engineer or architect in enterprise environments
  • Deep understanding of subscription models and lifecycle management
  • Hands-on expertise with APIs, workflow design, product catalog, and reporting
  • Experience integrating with CRM, ERP, and data platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer experience
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
