Job Role Overview

The Corporate HR Head position is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring an exceptional leader to spearhead the transformation and embedding of our company culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee all areas of Human Resources, Payroll, and Learning and Development, ensuring compliance with Employment Law, HR policy, best practice, and workforce development.
  • Develop and implement effective employment policies across the organization, advising on strategies for improvement.
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to HR staff, promoting knowledge sharing, best practice, and relevant professional standards.
  • Evaluate compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation (including data protection, the Equality Act, and health and safety).
  • Lead the execution of the HR Strategy, driving continuous improvement in core areas including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, and maintaining and improving HR systems.
  • Foster a culture of engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers, and building leadership capability.
  • Drive organizational culture transformation, ensuring alignment with company values and approach.
  • Develop and implement a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with business strategy and commitments.
  • Cultivate and support senior and high-potential colleagues, identifying individual strengths, development needs, developing effective relationships, and encouraging retention.
  • Ensure managers have necessary skills and information to manage workforce issues effectively.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's Degree in HR or related field, demonstrating expertise in people management.
  • 12+ years of experience in an HR role, showcasing commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to create and execute people strategy, leveraging metrics for performance enhancement.
  • Proactive attitude, passion for leading with integrity, and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Agile work ethic, curious mindset, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law, thorough attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills, commitment to inspiring collaboration and positive team dynamics.
