Job Title: IT Systems Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join our team at ProPMO Services Private Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, data security, and system management tools.

Key Responsibilities



  • Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, data security, and system management tools.

  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

  • Providing technical direction to IT support staff.

  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

  • Writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on any tasks.

  • Participating in the design of information and operational support systems.

  • Assisting in the design and development of information systems and operational support systems.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in system engineering and IT support.

  • Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of OS and software.

  • Experience creating automated scripts and software.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Decision-making skills.

  • Information security skills.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of systems engineering software tools.

  • Organizational skills.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of cloud computing.

  • Certification may be helpful.

  • Having knowledge of network such as OSI network layers and TCP/IP protocols.
