Cybersecurity Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to join our team and drive post-market security investigations, vulnerability response, and remediation activities. If you have experience in assessing and investigating cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents affecting medical devices, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

  • Audit and investigate cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents impacting medical devices.
  • Lead post-market security investigations, coordinate vulnerability response, and execute remediation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses aligned with FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least six years of general Cybersecurity experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three years of Product Security experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three years of Vulnerability Management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with IT, business partners, and internal/external audits.
  • Proven experience in evaluating and advancing organizational cybersecurity maturity aligned with NIST CSF Implementation Tiers (Tier 1-4).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FDA, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
  • Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity using the NIST CSF Implementation Tiers.
  • Ability to lead an organization with multiple urgent demands.
