Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer

As a key member of our growing team, you'll create, mentor, design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on user experience and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop web applications with high-quality data preprocessing facilities.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design mockups into responsive and interactive web applications using React.js.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Implement state management solutions like Redux or Mobx to manage application data effectively.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
  • Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
  • Document code, technical specifications, and project progress to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Owning solutions from end to end, managing complexity, and engaging with stakeholders to think through everything.
  • Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in React.js and web development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier college.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end web development, with at least 2-3 years in JavaScript frameworks like React and 1-2 years specifically in React JS.
  • Experience working with libraries that handle multimedia data, including image, audio, and video, for tasks such as streaming, editing, and labelling.
  • Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of state management tools like Redux, Mobx, etc.
  • Strong understanding of core JavaScript principles and fundamentals.
  • Good knowledge of the DOM, APIs, and their performance impacts.
  • In-depth understanding of HTML5 and CSS, with the ability to make decisions for responsive UI design.
  • Familiarity with popular JavaScript tools, frameworks, and design principles, and a desire to stay updated with the JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Strong grasp of UI performance metrics and how to capture and interpret them.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing best practices and improving team discipline.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards.
  • Experience using version control systems like GitHub/GitLab.
  • Passion for code quality, extensibility, and simple architecture design.
  • Comfortable working in an open, highly collaborative team environment.
