Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AS400 developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE, ILE Advanced concepts, and RPG programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and deploy iSeries/AS400 applications using RPG programming language.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex SQL concepts and programming.
  • Create, build, and maintain different libraries in an AS/400 environment.
  • Perform iSeries/AS400 technical support and operations, including CL programming skills for automation.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure uptime/availability of database for reporting.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG Programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE, ILE Advanced concepts, and RPG programming.
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts and programming, FTP concepts, and Automation.
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of CL & OS/400 commands.

This role requires a skilled professional who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions. Experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment and skills in Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities include providing technical support during testing, assisting in deployment, and providing post-deployment support. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with client team independently are essential.
