Senior Backend Engineer – Python

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Backend Engineer – Python. As a seasoned professional in the field of backend development, you will be responsible for leading the backend development of AI-powered applications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer – Python who has a solid foundation in backend architecture, real-time systems, and Python development. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable Python-based backend services, particularly for AI-driven applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement scalable Python-based backend services.
  • Design modular and maintainable codebases.
  • Lead and mentor developers through all phases of development.
  • Develop APIs using FastAPI.
  • Implement ORM and migrations using SQLAlchemy.
  • Integrate task queues using Celery.
  • Build and optimize database systems.
  • Integrate LLMs into backend systems.
  • Use AI/NLP libraries in production-level applications.
  • Implement containerization using Docker.
  • Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 5–6 years of experience in Python backend development.
  • Proven experience in designing backend architectures from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Celery, Purest, LLM-specific libraries, AI/ML-related Python libraries, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and database design best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git workflows.
  • Experience deploying and integrating LLM-powered applications into production.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-tenant or multi-service application design.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
