Enterprise Risk Management Professional

Job Description:

As a seasoned Enterprise Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating operational risks across various departments.

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Develop and implement risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to identify potential operational risks.
  • Risk Mitigation: Design and execute risk mitigation strategies and action plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor operational risk indicators and metrics, prepare and present risk reports to senior management, and manage regular risk meetings.
  • Third Party Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party interactions, including cybersecurity vulnerabilities, non-compliance with regulations, and financial instability.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and updating of operational risk policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and Mitigate Operational Risks

The key focus area for this role is to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Develop and Implement Risk Assessments

Design and execute risk assessments to identify potential operational risks, and develop implementation plans to mitigate these risks.

Monitor and Report Risk Metrics

Develop and maintain operational risk metrics and reporting systems to monitor risk trends and provide insights to senior management.

Manage Third-Party Risks

Assess and manage risks associated with third-party interactions, including cybersecurity vulnerabilities, non-compliance with regulations, and financial instability.

Develop Operational Risk Policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update operational risk policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of operational risk management framework, risk identification, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting techniques.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
