- Provide strategic guidance, industry insights, and practical solutions to student teams, helping them navigate startup challenges with confidence.
- Lead one-on-one mentorship sessions, group workshops, and problem-solving clinics tailored to startup challenges.
- Share frameworks, tools, and real-world examples that help students tackle operational, financial, and strategic hurdles.
- Offer feedback on business models, pitch decks, and customer discovery processes.
- Connect students with industry experts, investors, and networks that can support their growth.
- Help students build leadership skills, resilience, and a growth-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide student founders through every stage of their startup journey from idea validation to product-market fit and scaling strategies.
- Conduct one-on-one mentorship sessions, group workshops, and problem-solving clinics tailored to startup challenges.
- Share frameworks, tools, and practical examples that help students tackle operational, financial, and strategic hurdles.
- Provide feedback on business models, pitch decks, and customer discovery processes.
- Connect students with industry experts, investors, and networks that can support their growth.
- Help students build leadership skills, resilience, and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with university faculty, departments, and academic leadership to integrate the program within campus ecosystems, ensuring coordination, awareness, and alignment with academic schedules and activities.
- Engage with student clubs, societies, and networks to expand outreach and participation.
- Track student progress, challenges, and feedback through CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Lead structured interventions such as Demo Days, workshops, and networking events that add value to the startup community.
- Create learning resources, templates, and content to support students' startup journeys.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in startups, entrepreneurial ventures, or early-stage businesses (founder/co-founder/team member/advisor).
- Proven understanding of startup challenges ideation, validation, funding, customer acquisition, and scaling.
- Prior experience mentoring or coaching founders or students is highly desirable.
- Exposure to investor networks, accelerator programs, or startup ecosystems is a plus.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as CRM systems, Notion, Slack, Google Sheets/Excel, etc.
- Experience collaborating with educational institutions, faculty, and student bodies to execute programs is highly desirable.
