Senior Executive - Finance

The Role:

  • We are seeking a Senior Executive to lead our finance team. This individual will be responsible for reconciling customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.
  • The successful candidate will review supplier invoices, verify contractual agreements, and record entries in the financial management system.
  • This role involves preparing monthly management information reports, revenue statements, and reconciling income and expenditure reports.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly reconciliation of the financial management system.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring receivables, following up with debtors, and preparing monthly ageing reports.
  • The successful candidate will maintain and update financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS.
  • This role involves processing invoices, accurately recording receipts, and generating management information reports.
  • Conducting general ledger reviews and analysis, and assisting auditors during financial audits is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce/Chartered Accountant Intermediate with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Masters of Commerce or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.
