Job Title

Data Architect.

Description:

We are seeking an experienced data architect to lead the development of our data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and architecture, with experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data lakes, warehouses, and marts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to support analytics, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence/machine learning use cases.
  • Develop data models tailored for analytical and operational workloads.
  • Define and implement data ingestion, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) pipelines and integration strategies across multiple sources.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms, enabling seamless self-service analytics.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective data architectures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering and architecture roles.
  3. Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data management principles.
  4. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
  5. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, Java, and distributed data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  6. Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, IBM DataStage, Talend, dbt, etc.).
  7. Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, lineage, and security standards.
  8. Proven track record in leading enterprise data transformation projects.
  9. Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to work across technical and business teams.
