Atlassian Administrator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining both on-prem and SaaS versions of Jira and Confluence, as well as planning and performing on-prem to SaaS cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuring and customizing workflows, issue types, screens, and fields to meet specific business needs
  • Managing user roles, permissions, and access to ensure seamless collaboration and data security
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving issues, and applying updates or patches to maintain optimal functionality
  • Integrating Atlassian tools with other systems and services through APIs or app integrations to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures, as well as providing user training and support to ensure effective tool adoption
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience with designing and implementing custom workflows, issue types, and fields
  • Strong communication skills to work with various teams and users, providing support and training
  • Experience with scripting languages like Groovy and automation tools like ScriptRunner
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices, particularly Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus
