Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the design and implementation of instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with design deliverables such as Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system Specifications, Instrument Index and I/O List, Functional loop schematics, and Logic Diagrams, Inst. Datasheets, Installation drawings and Hookups, Inst. Location Lay outs, Cable Tray lay outs, Control room lay outs, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring and Interconnection drawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Construction/Erection Tender, CAPEX support etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PID review and update
  • 3D Model review
  • IDR/IDC
  • Cable tray layouts
  • Equipment layouts
  • Instrumentation Layout

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands on Experience in the following design Calculations; Inst. Sizing . Control Valve Sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL), Flow meter sizing, Safety valve sizing, Air and power consumption calculations, Thermowell Wake freq. calculations, UPS Sizing, Transformer sizing, Cable tray sizing, cable sizing.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards.
  • Should have knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification
  • Instrument Selection All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.
