Position Overview:

The Automation Lead plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing test automation strategies for mobile telecom applications.

This expert ensures the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across functional and non-functional testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Framework: Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for telco systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
  • Define automation strategies, evaluating and selecting tools and technologies that align with the telecom SDLC.
  • Test Automation Strategy: Define the test automation strategy and identify automation opportunities.
  • Prioritize test cases for automation.

Script Development: Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts. Ensure script reliability and maintainability, following best practices.

CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing. Optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the automation framework.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience automating tests for mobile telco systems.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG).
