Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • We're seeking an exceptional Backend Systems Architect to lead the design and implementation of high-performance backend services in Rust. Your expertise will ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our systems.
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives. This includes integrating APIs and data pipelines, ensuring seamless interoperability and high-quality data flows throughout our platform.
  • We require a strong focus on security, applying best practices for secure coding, conducting thorough code reviews, and implementing testing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent regressions.
  • Additionally, you'll work closely with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Skillset

We're looking for individuals with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Rust Expertise: Strong proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem, including crates, testing frameworks, and tooling.
  • Backend & Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Performance & Concurrency: Proven experience profiling applications, optimizing performance-critical code paths, and handling concurrency safely and efficiently.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Comfortable with Git-based workflows, continuous integration, and automated testing pipelines.

Experience

We're looking for individuals with at least 3 years of software development experience, with hands-on experience coding in Rust. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is also required.
