About the Role

Our team is looking for a skilled Backend Developer with experience in Go or Rust to join our technical infrastructure. You'll play a key role in transforming raw on-chain data into actionable insights by decoding smart contract events and implementing pricing logic from decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys low-level protocol work, understands DeFi mechanics, and can build robust data pipelines that power real-time pricing engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer) to enable efficient data extraction.
  • Build and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference, to provide precise market insights.
  • Collaborate closely with data and infra teams to design and implement efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution), ensuring seamless integration with real-time pricing engines.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code in Go or Rust, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • A strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs, ensuring seamless integration with our decentralized infrastructure.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, particularly in understanding AMM math, including constant product formulas, Uniswap V3 ticks, and TWAP/oracle logic.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure, including Geth, Erigon, and RPC APIs.
  • Ability to design and build data extraction or indexing tools (e.g., subgraphs, custom indexers), ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • The ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment, driving innovation and excellence in our team.
