Site Manager Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing facility. The primary goal is to drive process improvement and excellence throughout the site.


  • Develop and implement a Master Plan for Manufacturing Excellence to achieve world-class performance outcomes.
  • Lead all departments in implementing ManEx practices to meet their broad plans.
  • Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through ManEx practices.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to operational teams on loss and waste reduction.
  • Engage with daily operational review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
  • Practice maturity assessments and develop/implement a practice maturity improvement ManEx strategy for the site.
  • Implement weekly/monthly/quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of the ManEx journey.
  • Support task forces and shift-based teams in their deployment of ManEx through regular meetings and communication of activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste, and improve operational flexibility.
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Drive the implementation of the site ManEx master plan.
  • People Management: Demonstrate managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities and ensure effective implementation of ManEx training and development programs.
  • Communication: Implement weekly/monthly/quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of the ManEx journey.
