Job Role:

A senior system architect with expertise in ZOS platform will provide technical guidance on architecture planning and design, as well as manage day-to-day operations.

  • Support infrastructure development through migration, installation and configuration for new projects
  • Lead architectural design of a scalable and extensible solution based on various system requirements
  • Conduct capacity planning by reviewing current and future demands
  • Utilize new features to ensure smooth functioning of installed databases and applications
  • Develop disaster recovery plans and create backup and recovery strategies
  • Manage the daily operations of the tower
  • Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis and develop fixes to prevent similar problems
  • Plan for upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
  • Review technical performance of own tower and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce challenges
  • Develop shift rosters for teams to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Create and update standard operating procedures, data responsibility matrices, operations manuals and other relevant documents
  • Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders on database activities and progress updates
