Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of software quality assurance principles and methodologies.

  1. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field, with at least 3 years dedicated to test automation.
  2. They will be proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web/UI applications using selenium with Java or C#.
  3. The candidate should have experience working with various test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium Webdriver, TestNg/Junit, Cucumber, Maven/Gradle, and POM.
  4. Additional skills include coding expertise in Java/Javascript/C#/Python, experience with test management tools like Test Rail/Jira, and good knowledge of integration testing and rest/SOA APIs using Postman/Jmeter.
  5. They must have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and be able to apply them effectively.
  6. The candidate should also possess good knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case writing, STLC, and SDLC.
  7. Lastly, they should have exposure to/agility with SCM and CI/CD tools such as Git/Svn/Gitlab/Jenkins, as well as familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps, and continuous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web/UI applications using selenium with Java or C#.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test automation requirements.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other teams as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and at least 3 years of experience in Test Automation.
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web/UI applications using selenium with Java or C#.
  • Experience of working with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools (Selenium Webdriver, TestNg / Junit, Cucumber, Maven / Gradle, POM) and other similar tools.
  • Experience of coding in Java / Javascript / C# / Python.
  • Experience of working in test management tools like Test Rail, Jira or similar tools.
  • Good Knowledge of integration testing and Rest / SOA APIs using Postman / Jmeter or similar tools.
  • Good Knowledge of Object-oriented Programming Concepts and ability to implement them.
