Senior DevOps Engineer Position

Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile development processes with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Provide operational and systems expertise to the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure, software builds, testing, deployments, and other tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers to promote skill growth and development.
  • Support products and tools through on-call rotations, providing timely assistance and issue resolution.
  • Configure monitoring, reporting, and alerting systems to ensure real-time visibility and proactive issue detection.
  • Review architecture and infrastructure design proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide input on technical feasibility and resource requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years experience with systems administration and development, including Windows, .Net, and Visual Studio.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in CI/CD tooling, including Octopus and Appveyor.
  • 2+ years experience in work item tracking, including Jira.
  • 2+ years experience in scripting languages, including PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • 2+ years experience with AWS services.
  • 2+ years experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • 2+ years experience with Git version control system.
  • 2+ years experience with Windows containers, including Kubernetes and ECS.
  • 2+ years experience with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server.
  • Management experience with Windows AD Domains.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
