Senior Operations Manager – Travel Insurance

As a seasoned leader in Travel Insurance operations and claims management, you have the opportunity to take on a challenging role that requires expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills.

  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in Travel Insurance operations and claims management with at least 2-3 years of experience in a lead or equivalent role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Travel Insurance product features, processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance needs, as well as the implementation and management of comprehensive Travel insurance operations & claims management processes.
  • Familiarity with International Travel Insurance Medical Claims, terms, and systems.
  • Understanding of the International Travel Insurance TPA ecosystem and experience managing the TPA model.
  • Previous experience in starting up a team from scratch is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The ability to make informed decisions quickly and adapt to creative problem-solving, combined with good judgment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment that values collaboration and co-creation.
  • High resilience - able to manage oneself, one's team, and peers when faced with ambiguity or failure.
