MongoDB Database Administrator

Our team is seeking an experienced MongoDB database administrator to design, implement, and maintain mission-critical databases.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for MongoDB administration and database best practices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
  • Monitor database performance and implement optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database design principles and best practices, expertise in backup, recovery, and replication strategies, and familiarity with query optimization and database performance tuning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with MongoDB administration.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree or higher.

Desirable Skills:

  • Broader exposure to NoSQL and relational database systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based database deployments.

Personal Qualities:

  • Problem-solving mindset with ownership of outcomes.
