Job Summary:

The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the sub-function of the marketing team for Tech Data's Technology Solutions, India. This individual is responsible for assisting in events, communications, and managing vendor portals to maintain the company's Brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develops and implements marketing plans and processes across all vendors.
  2. Manages all vendor portals for the marketing function and ensures seamless communication with teams.
  3. Facilitates requests for activities and ensures timely notification to relevant teams.
  4. Handles claims for vendors and reconciles with the company's Finance team.
  5. Manages purchase orders and debit notes for all third-party vendors.
  6. Assists in the communications function to enhance internal and external engagement.
  7. Analyzes business data for marketing usage through database and MIS analysis.
  8. Custodian for all marketing collaterals, ensuring their dispatch and receipt.
  9. Custodian for all marketing assets, ensuring their update and maintenance.
  10. Contributes to conducting events and sourcing materials for the same.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  2. Strong customer satisfaction focus, ensuring high levels of internal and external satisfaction.
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing/sales coordination.
  4. Prior experience in distribution and/or IT is preferred.
  5. University degree or equivalent.
