About this Role

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Data Transformation Specialist to design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, as well as knowledge of cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  2. Implement complex queries and data transformations using SQL scripting.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  4. Develop and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  5. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
  6. Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.
  8. Apply knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  9. Lead or participate in data migration projects to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
  10. Manage tasks and collaborate with teams using agile systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with agile systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
