We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our data-driven organization and contribute to the transformation of Human Health into a premier Data First commercial biopharma company.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the Commercial Data Solutions team, providing technical expertise in developing analytical data products to support data science and analytics use cases. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing last-mile data products using cutting-edge technologies and software engineering practices
  • Enabling data science and analytics teams to drive data modeling and feature engineering activities aligned with business questions and utilizing datasets effectively
  • Developing deep domain expertise and business acumen to ensure that all complexities and pitfalls of data sources are accounted for
  • Building data products based on automated data models, aligned with use case requirements, and advising data scientists, analysts, and visualization developers on how to utilize these data models
  • Developing analytical data products for reusability, governance, and compliance by design
  • Aligning with organizational strategy and implementing a semantic layer for analytics data products
  • Supporting data stewards and other engineers in maintaining data catalogs, data quality measures, and governance frameworks

To excel in this role, we require:

  • B.Tech/B.S., M.Tech/M.S. or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Data Science, Business, or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with demonstrated hands-on experience in analyzing, modeling, and extracting insights from commercial/marketing analytics datasets
  • High proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with various stakeholders
