AR Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AR Developer to join our team.

This role will involve building and shipping mobile AR features, integrating OpenCV for augmented interactions, and optimizing for real-time performance across iOS and Android platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AR development, with experience in Unity (AR Foundation 4/5), ARCore, and ARKit. They should also be proficient in object tracking, OpenCV integration, and profiling and optimization on mobile devices.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and deploying mobile AR features using Unity and AR Foundation.
  • Integrating OpenCV for image and object detection, segmentation, and other augmented interactions.
  • Optimizing AR experiences for real-time performance, frame rate, memory usage, and thermal management on both iOS and Android devices.
  • Debugging and releasing AR applications on the App Store and Google Play.
  • Writing concise technical notes and maintaining documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AR development.
  • Strong knowledge of Unity, AR Foundation, ARCore, and ARKit.
  • Proven experience in object tracking, OpenCV integration, and profiling and optimization on mobile devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Experience with Git, CI basics, modular code, and automated build and test processes.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with shader graph, HLSL, and lightweight visual effects.
  • Familiarity with Sentis, Barracuda, or on-device machine learning.
  • Knowledge of Niantic Lightship and its features.
