Research Engineer

The role of Research Engineer entails the development and application of cutting-edge AI solutions that integrate various data modalities, thereby enhancing interactive systems.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Research & Development:
    • Develop state-of-the-art models for text-to-speech technologies and agentic workflows by integrating multiple data modalities.
    • Conduct experiments to test new algorithms and architectures for improved performance.
    • Stay updated with advancements in AI research and its applications.
  • Model Design & Optimization:
    • Design and optimize AI models for complex NLP tasks focusing on TTS and multimodal integration.
    • Experiment with novel methods in model training, domain adaptation, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaboration & Learning:
    • Translate research insights into tangible products that utilize AI and TTS technologies within agentic workflows.
    • Engage in a culture of innovation and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
    • Collaborate with external research communities to advance AI research.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or closely related field.
  • Experience or coursework in large language models, deep learning, NLP, and TTS technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Progress toward a Ph.D. in relevant discipline with a record of publications or patents.
  • Experience in pioneering research in AI, familiarity with m-LLM frameworks and toolkits.
  • Specialized skills: Experience with TTS systems, including speech synthesis and voice conversion technologies.
